The Accommodation

This residence is located in a very quiet area on the eastern edge of the town of L’Île Rousse, yet the town centre with its array of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops can be accessed within a ten minute walk along the beach.  

The development features just 6 luxury apartments, all of which are beautifully designed and decorated in an elegant yet contemporary style.

Each 70m² apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people in 2 well-proportioned bedrooms (1 double with en suite and 1 twin).  They all also have a living room facing the sea, a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, washing machine, iron and a coffee machine), a second bathroom with  walk-in shower and a large 30m² terrace with luxury outdoor furnishings.

All apartments are equipped with a satellite TV in the living room (local TV channels in both bedrooms), an iPod/iPhone station, WiFi, safe, ironing facilities, hairdryer, radio, HiFi stereo system, DVD player and air conditioning. The apartments are cleaned on a daily basis by the residence’s team of housekeeping staff.

The Facilities

The property features a heated outdoor swimming pool with a sunbathing terrace and a jacuzzi along with private parking facilities (1 space per apartment) and direct access to the beautiful white sand beach situated just a few metres away.

There is a concierge and other services available (at a supplement) which include, babysitting, laundry collection, hairdressing and home massages plus daily delivery of fresh bread and pastries. Staff at the residence can also assist guests wishing to rent a boat, enjoy private excursions or one of the sporting, cultural or festive activities taking place in the local area.

The Local Area

Résidence Dary is set next to a beautiful white sand beach just 250m away from the centre of the charming little port town of L’Île Rousse, (23km from Calvi and 73km from Bastia), named after the red granite islets now linked to the town by a causeway built by Pascal Paoli when he created the port in 1758.  

Whilst architecturally more reminiscent of buildings found in southern France, this beautiful town still retains an authentic Corsican atmosphere. A pleasant evening pastime is to sit beneath the plane trees and date palms in the central square, Place Paoli, with an aperitif or a coffee, watching games of pétanque and listening to the locals chatting in the island’s own language - Corsu.

There is a small market on the edge of the square where a variety of fresh Corsican produce can be purchased, and there is also an excellent selection of restaurants and bars.

This is one of the warmest towns on the island with shelter from the Balagne hills and with gently sloping sandy beaches, makes L’Île Rousse a favourite with couples and families alike.
