Accommodation

The hotel features a collection of very grand guest rooms along with Junior Suites, Suites &  Suites Privileges arranged on 4 floors accessed via a lift in the main house with views over the trees and the beautiful surrounding area, plus 2 Bergeries Caseddu in the grounds. Each room has been decorated with exceptional attention to detail, creating a blend of authenticity and comfort with character features including long French windows, chandeliers, wood flooring & antique furnishings.  Amenities include elegant en suite shower room, separate WC, air conditioning, phone, minibar, coffee machine, kettle, flat-screen satellite TV, WiFi, safe and some with small balcony*.

The grand dining room and Orangery houses the hotel’s signature restaurant, A Népita, led by Chef Sébastien Chauchat showcasing refined Corsican & Mediterranean cuisine using local producers and seasonal ingredients including wild herbs, brocciu cheese, charcuterie & chestnut specialities. Guests can enjoy gourmet dinners, Sunday brunch and sunset aperitifs with I Piattini sharing plates.

The stylish lounge bar is ideal to relax with an espresso or afternoon tea, fireside chess or backgammon, handcrafted cocktails or artisanal myrtle liqueur.

The concierge can arrange a wide range of outdoor and cultural experiences including canyoning around Bavella, quad biking in Ospédale, Bavella Bike Park offering electric bike rentals for a self-guided adventure or with an instructor to explore 28 dedicated trails, tree-top adventure climbing courses, horse riding & guided cultural visits including a visit to the Thermal baths of Caldane. The surrounding region is also ideal for hiking with access to iconic sites such as the Aiguilles de Bavella, the natural pool of Piscia di Gallu, Cucuruzzu archaeological site, Purcaraccia waterfalls, Trou de la Bombe and stages 13 and 14 of the legendary GR20.

Perched up at 950m in Zonza, the Hippodrome de Viséo is the highest racecourse in Europe in the heart of Alta Rocca, offering summer race meetings against the spectacular backdrop of the Aiguilles de Bavella.

The surrounding landscapes evoke the Rockies & Italian Dolomites with dramatic mountain ridges, deep forests and vast plateaus like the Coscione, home to roaming wild horses & breathtaking views . Despite its peaceful mountain setting, the beaches are only around 40 minutes away.

Situated in the heart of the Alta Rocca mountains, Zonza is popular with walkers and those seeking a typical Corsican village, away from the hustle & bustle of seaside towns.
