Villas Celia was beautiful. In a quiet location, 5 minutes drive from the Town centre. The Villa and pool area were immaculate, and the Villa was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and we will be rebooking

This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed. The Villa is of the highest standard you could expect. The location is so quiet for the most relaxing vacation you could wish for. Beautiful scenery. If you want nightlife or local bars then this isn't for you. We loved it for what we had was a perfect holiday! We stayed on Villa Vignola and it was perfect in every way.

There are four 2 bedroom villas (80m ² ) and five 3 bedroom villas (105-145m ² ) arranged in extensive grounds with mature oaks and ancient olive trees on a gently sloping hillside.  All the villas are air conditioned throughout, have a flat-screen TV in the living room and a utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Each villa has a private pool which can be heated (extra cost) April - May and mid September - October.

Villa Gialla, Villa Turchina, Villa Rossa & Villa Natura - 2 Bedrooms(80m ² )
Living room with double sofa bed (single sofa bed in Villa Natura), dining area, fully fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Large furnished terrace with garden and private swimming pool (7m x 3.5m) and summer kitchen with sink, fridge and barbecue. There is 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and WC and 1 twin bedroom with en suite shower room and use of a separate WC.  

Villa Verde – 3 Bedrooms(105m ² )
Living room with sofa, dining area, fully fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Large furnished terrace with garden and swimming pool (7m x 3.5m) and summer kitchen with sink, fridge and barbecue. There is 1 double bedroom with en suite shower room with use of a separate WC, second double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and WC and a twin bedroom with en suite shower room and WC.  

Villa Luna – 3 Bedrooms(105m ² )
Living room with sofa, dining area, fully fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Large furnished terrace with garden and swimming pool (7m x 3.5m) and summer kitchen with sink, fridge and barbecue. Villa Vignola – 3 Bedrooms(130m ² )

Villa Nepita– 3 Bedrooms(130m ² )

Villa Murella– 3 Bedrooms(145m ² )
Living room with sofa, dining area, fully fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Large furnished terrace with garden and swimming pool (7m x 3.5m). There is 1 double bedroom with en suite shower room and use of a separate WC, second double bedroom with en suite shower room and WC and a twin bedroom with en suite shower room and use of a separate WC.

Set in their own gardens, each of the villas has a private swimming pool (7m x 3.5m, heated April-May and mid September-October, extra cost) with sun loungers and parasols around plus additional garden furniture and gas fired Weber barbecue for al fresco meals. 

Within the grounds of the villas, there is a small market garden from which guests are welcome to help themselves to the abundance of fruit, salad and vegetables that are grown there.

The villas are located just a few minutes’ drive from the centre of L’Île Rousse with a lively atmosphere, numerous bars, cafes and restaurants and several white-sand beaches.

L’Île Rousse has a small market on the edge of the town square where a variety of fresh Corsican produce can be purchased and there is also an excellent selection of restaurants and bars.

This is one of the warmest towns on the island with shelter from the Balagne hills and with gently sloping sandy beaches, makes L’Ile Rousse a favourite with couples and families alike.  It was named after the red granite islets now linked to the town by a causeway built by Pasquale Paoli when he created the port in 1758. 

Whilst architecturally more reminiscent of buildings found in southern France, this beautiful town still retains an authentic Corsican atmosphere.  A pleasant pastime is to sit beneath the plane trees and date palms in the central square, Place Paoli, and enjoy a drink or a coffee, watching games of pétanque and listening to the locals chatting in the island’s own language ‘Corsu’.

Often referred to as the ‘Garden of Corsica’, La Balagne region where L’Île Rousse is situated is famous for its fertile soils, coves of golden sand, winding coastline and charming historic villages. The region is one of the largest producers of olives and olive oil, almonds and honey on the island, and plays host to numerous, highly rated vineyards. 

With its rich landscapes, hiking trails and the beautiful clear waters of the north western quarter of the island, La Balagne is the perfect place to experience authentic Corsican charm.

There is also a coastal train that connects L’Île Rousse with Calvi in the west and Corte to the south east.
