Travel to corsica by Ferry, Road or Rail

For those who prefer an alternative to air travel, Just Corsica can organise ferries for those wishing to travel by road or by rail whilst visiting France en route.

Ferries to France

There are a number of different options to cross the English Channel to France, depending on your location in the UK but the Eurotunnel (www.eurotunnel.com) or ferries from Dover to Calais are the quickest and usually the most reasonable route.

UK - France - Corsica

There are many routes available through France to reach Corsica. There are ferries from Marseille, Nice or Toulon taking passengers to various ports around the island. Please speak to our Reservations Team for more details.

Alternatively, how about a Tri-Island Grand Tour through Corsica, Sardinia and onto Sicily? Drive to Corsica accessed via Corsican ferries from Nice, Toulon and Marseille in the south if France. Corsica is 8 miles north of Sardinia accessed by a 50 minute ferry journey from Bonifacio in southern Corsica to Santa Teresa on the northern tip of Sardinia. Sardinia is approximately 220 miles from Sicily which can be reached by ferries from Cagliari in the south of Sardinia to Palermo in the north of Sicily.

Just Corsica can advise and book accommodation in Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica, with any day arrival and departure and any length of stay (subject to availability).

Please call our Reservations Team for more details on 01202 703500 and to help you plan your route.

huw's view

Over the last few years my family and I have taken to driving through France and Italy which we find less stressful, allows us take as much 'stuff' as we want and is a great way to see more of Europe.

We incorporate an overnight stop in France and wonderful French dinner and the next day lunch in Italy on the way to the ferry over to the islands, a great way to arrive into your holiday destination!

Travelling by car can be great fun and a great way to see some of Europe's top attractions however you obviously must have the time!
